Whispers of a Forgotten Land is an epic fantasy world born from vision, paint and myth.
What began as original hand- painted works evolved into a living saga of magic, destiny and forgotten truths.
This is the beginning of The Prophecies of Eve-a story revealed through art, imagination and the echoes of a world that refuses to fade.

sculpture
As Whispers of a Forgotten land was being written, its creatures and characters began to take physical form in clay.
These sculptural studies were created alongside the narrative, allowing imagined mythological beings to be understood in three dimensions while the world itself still unfolded.

About the creator
Kevin James Bell was born in 1968 in a small coastal town of Whitehaven, Cumbria, UK. He left school with few formal qualifications and was not accepted for GCE art, yet from an early age he showed a natural skill for working with his hands and an unusually vivid imagination.
As a child. Kevin was drawn not to realism but myth, legend, and adventure. His imagination was shaped by stories and film such as Jason and the Argonauts, The Voyage of Sinbad, Clash of the Titans, and the legends of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. These early influences left a lasting imprint, forming the foundations of the worlds he could later create.
Whispers of a Forgotten Land emerged gradually from a lifelong fascination. What began as instinctive visual exploration through painting, drawing, and sculpture studies evolved into a fully realised mythological world. The artworks, models, and writing that make up the project are not separate disciplines, but different expressions of the same inner landscape-one rooted in imagination, myth, and the need to build worlds where stories can live.
